maternity private care

how much maternity leave will my friend be entittled to?
been working for a private health care for over 3 years. basic salary after tax is £1500. the baby was due on 1 of october, but the baby come early, 4 sep 2009.
she had requested to start her maternity leave on 20 of september.
worked untill 31/ aug/2009
how much maternity leave will she be enttiled to get. each month
In UK she’s entitled to 52 weeks maternity leave, but not all this is paid (9 months is paid). For the first 6 weeks she would have gor 90% of her wages, for the remaining time it’s £123 a week. Her company may decide to pay an additional maternity allowance on top of this but they are not obliged to do so, it depends on your company’s individual materntiy leave policy.
