Black history banquet Friday Carver High Alumni Association black history banquet will be Feb. 19 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Lonoke Assembly of God. Author of “The Search for Kum Ba Ya” and Little Rock doctor Patricia A. Knott will speak. The cost is $10 and will go toward the Carver Gym renovation fund.
