Does anyone know Ontario Law regarding Short term disability leave after pregnancy before maternity leave?
I have been told that Ontario considers a period of time after delivering a baby to be a disability and that employees are eligible to use their Short Term Disability benefits. I am trying to find some supporting documentation? I haven’t been able to find anything on government sites.
Can you direct me to some information or have any of you taken Short term disability for this before?
my wife was layed off before we could try it…
