cute maternity hospital gowns

What do you think of bringing your own hospital gown to give birth in?
I am thinking of buying a cute gown to wear while in labor. I just want to know is that dumb? Would I get weird looks from others? Its my second and the first time I didnt feel at all cute and didnt want to take but a couple of pictures so maybe if I feel better about how I look things will be better? And if I do get one I’m not sure which design so if you would like to leave your opinions I will post a link of my options.

Thanks to everybody who answered I will ask my doctor whether it is permitted or not if so I am getting one!
nothing wrong about wanting to look good during labor! If i have time and energy before active labor, I plan to put on a new gown (i bought a nice but cheap one at JC Penny b/c i anticipate throwing it away post-labor), fix my hair (use a hair straightener to tame the wild curls), put on some make-up, and have my husband take pics of me looking awesome while in labor! of course none of that will happen most likely…probably i will be screaming down the neighborhood in pain (i have zero pain tolerance).
Oh and I bought two new robes for post-partum!
None of this was expensive, and it does make me feel better…
Good luck!
