maternity support hose for varicose veins
Varicose veins yuck! Do you think this is helping?
I see my doctor this thursday and I am going to let him know about the problems I am having then but I have been reading and see that support hose are the best thing for varicose veins. I was not able to find actual compression stockings anywhere so I ordered them on the internet (maternity kind) Today I picked up just some general support hose from Walmart. Do you think that will make any difference? I have been wearing them today and when I first feel my leg it feels perfectly normal, but as I am bent over to check the veins start bulging out again (I know… stop bending over…) but do you think this is helping at all? If not they are kind of uncomfortable because they are not maternity hose and are tight (not too tight) around the abdomen.
they’re probably not helping that much, but i suppose its better than nothing until the maternity ones arrive. if you feel that they’re helping even a little bit, then go for it, they certainly shouldn’t do any harm.
